Cheyney HRTM @ 45: An Anniversary Celebration & Benefit is a joyous dinner formal and Afterglow Reception designed to bring together alumni with past and present program coordinators, faculty, and staff as well as students, family, friends, and corporate and institutional supporters to celebrate our proud 45-year history!
Our goal is to establish an Experiential Learning Grant to provide students world-class cocurricular, extracurricular, and related opportunities for industry engagement.
The 45th anniversary color is Sapphire Blue, and celebratory activities include:
Semi-Annual HRTM Advisory Board Meeting – This is the formal spring semester meeting of the official members of the Cheyney HRTM Advisory Board.
Open House Welcoming Event in The Grille @ Cheyney—our 50-seat dining room and teaching kitchen on the second floor of the Harris-Turner Building – This is a prime opportunity to tour Program facilities and engage current students, who will have prepared some tasty treats and will be on hand to discuss their experiences and aspirations.
Formal Dinner Program in Carnegie Hall Great Room on the Historic Quadrangle – An engaging welcome reception will precede remarks from exceptional students, illustrious alumni, past Program Coordinators, and key sponsors as well as an industry keynote plus world-class jazz entertainment over a refined meal.
Afterglow Reception at Residence Inn by Marriott Philadelphia Glen Mills/Concordville – Abundant hors d’ oeuvres, a two-hour open bar, and live DJ entertainment will set the mood for high-quality networking and socializing.
